Frequently asked questions
These are the questions participants and organizers ask most often before registration closes.
Registration
How do I know my registration is confirmed?
Your registration is confirmed once Tixlah shows a confirmed status and sends a confirmation email or receipt to the email address used during registration.
Can I register for someone else?
That depends on the organizer's policy. If registrations allow it, make sure the participant details, category choice, and emergency contact information are entered accurately.
What happens if I start registration and the timer runs out?
Reserved slots are released automatically when the session expires. You can start again if slots are still available.
Can I edit my registration after checkout?
Some profile fields remain editable before the organizer's cutoff time. Availability depends on event settings and the field being changed.
Payment
Which payment methods are supported?
Supported payment methods depend on the event and payment provider, but may include FPX, bank cards, and selected e-wallets.
What should I do if payment looks stuck?
Wait a moment for the payment status page to refresh. If the payment still fails or remains pending, follow the retry or support instructions shown on the page.
Will I be charged twice if I retry?
Retries create a new payment attempt only when the previous attempt has not completed successfully. Check your payment status before trying again.
Are refunds handled by Tixlah?
Refund and cancellation decisions are generally controlled by the event organizer, although Tixlah may help with the operational processing.
Event day
Where can I find race-day instructions?
Event day notes, arrival guidance, and other organizer instructions are available on the event page and in the registration confirmation details when available.
What should I bring to the event?
Bring the confirmation details requested by the organizer, such as your QR code, identification, or other required event materials.
Can I transfer my slot to another person?
Transfers depend on organizer policy and event rules. If transfers are permitted, the organizer will usually share the process and deadline.
What happens if an event is postponed or cancelled?
Organizers will communicate updates, replacement arrangements, or refund instructions. Tixlah will reflect the latest event status where possible.
Account & privacy
Why should I verify my email?
Email verification helps secure your account and allows Tixlah to connect registrations, session management, and account settings correctly.
How do I change my password?
You can update your password from account settings when signed in, or request a reset link from the forgot-password page.
Can I change the email address on my account?
Yes. Signed-in participants can request an email change from account settings, and the new address must usually be verified before it becomes active.
How is my personal data used?
Your personal data is used to operate registrations, communicate event updates, manage payments, and support participant access. See the Privacy Policy and PDPA Notice for more detail.
